Becky - Owner & Founder

Becky is the creator of The Knotty Nail and the mastermind behind the patterns, workshops and custom art pieces.  She cuts, sands and stains every single piece of wood for workshops and custom pieces and she runs the behind the scenes work of the company.  She left her job as an executive officer at a non-profit to pursue the wonderful world of self-employment in 2017 and is loving every minute of it.

Becky has three children - Mara (15), Noel (3) and Flyn (2) and two fur babies Oliver (dog) and Maui (cat) and is married to Andrew (see below). When not running her empire, Becky loves traveling, beaches, eating delicious food and spending time with her family. Originally from eastern Iowa, her favorite places in Des Moines are the Downtown Farmers Market and Saylorville Lake.

Fun Fact: While a junior at Central College, Becky's softball team won a national championship in Salem, Virginia.
